CASE STUDY #2Communication, Compliance Ensure Mississippi High-Stakes Rollout

When Mississippi launched its new statewide Student Information System (MSIS 2.0), districts faced the challenge of integrating critical special education data into the platform. Through SEAS, IEP elements, Child Find data, and Early Learning Outcomes were seamlessly extracted and transferred via API directly into MSIS. This streamlined approach eliminated manual entry, reduced errors, and ensured districts could meet the new reporting requirements with ease.

During the inaugural year, SEAS districts achieved 100% compliance with the submission process, a benchmark that underscored both the reliability of the platform and the strength of the partnership. Directors across the state praised SEAS for its responsive customer support and hands-on guidance, which made navigating the transition to MSIS 2.0 both smooth and successful.
