Making an Impact: SEAS News & Innovation

January 2026SEAS Oklahoma Partnership Spurs Medicaid Reimbursement Processing

With growing district needs, SEAS Medicaid reimbursement tool and services continue to reach across many states. SEAS began partnering with Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to quality public education for every child. SEAS software solutions support OPSRC’s mission across Oklahoma’s public education system. Working with Seminole Public Schools and Whitebead Public School District, SEAS is streamlining automated Medicaid claiming to maximize schools’ revenue returns for ongoing student success. What sets SEAS’ platform apart is its ability to simplify documentation and submission processes, reducing administrative burden on school staff and ensuring faster revenue returns for districts.

January 2026Communication, Compliance Ensure

SEAS has begun building its Attain Medicaid plan management software to aid Oregon schools in 10 districts with a customized solution that will ease adoption of significant new compliance reporting requirements. With the recent adoption of the Open Care Act — or Free Care Act, districts can claim Medicaid reimbursable services provided to students without an IEP Individualized Education Plan. Issued by the Oregon Health Authority, schools must identify and process 185 new procedure codes established by the American Medical Association. The codes correspond to school-based Medicaid procedures furnished by district health care rehabilitation and speech therapists.
